I don't know if you see it, To me there is a striking similarity between the two--the 2009 Johnny Depp movie and a 1988 classic. I haven't watched both anyway. Just another random IMDB window movieing. I invented that word. I don't think there is exactly a term that describes the act of watching a movie in the movie house. If there is movieing then there is also window movieing, or the act of watching trailers or feeding yourself with imdb synopsis to have a an almost watched feeling over a movie.
